On race day

1Administrator

1. Race → Start race just before the gun. Judges can’t card until then.
2. Put the Public board on the venue screen.
3. Unlock a judge after 5 wrong PINs: Officials → Unlock.

2Judges Guide

1. Sign in: Official tab, code + PIN. Check your number at the top.
2. Bib → yellow or red button for the offence → OK.
3. Mistake: Delete in My cards, then send the right one.
4. No signal: keep judging; cards show as Queued and send themselves. Don’t log out.

3Penalty zone Guide

1. Bib → ENTERS → CONFIRM as the athlete arrives.
2. Wait for MAY LEAVE, then release them.
3. Bib → LEAVES → CONFIRM as they go.
4. Never tell them why. Mistakes: tell the recorder.

Zone time: ≤5 km 30 s · ≤10 km 1 min · ≤20 km 2 min · ≤30 km 3 min · ≤40 km 4 min · over 40 km 5 min

4Chief judge Guide

1. 3 reds / 4th red: applied automatically.
2. Last 100 m (TR 54.4.1): Disqualify panel → bib, offence.
3. Notify once the red paddle has been shown.
4. Close race → check the list → late cards: Confirm or Discard.

5Recorder Guide

1. Double-click a card to tick off the paper copy.
2. Right-click (tablet: press and hold) a cell to fix, add or void a card or zone time.
3. Places → type places → Save changes.
4. TR 54.4.1 for the chief judge only on their instruction.

6Posting board Guide

1. Public board button, or …/board.html?meet=ID.
2. Full screen (F11); turn off screen sleep.
3. Shows bibs, red-card symbols, TO / IN PENALTY ZONE, DQ. No names.
4. No login needed. A closed race drops off.
